This one-of-a-kind car has had a complete rotisserie restoration done by High-Octane Restorations in Savannah Georgia. Everything was put back to 1970-1971 specifications. Including the numbers matching 440 4bbl engine (rebuilt on 6/21), 727 heavy duty transmission (Rebuilt 7/21) and the 8 ¾ rear with 3:23 Sure Grip (rebuilt 9/21)
The original carburetor was also restored (8/22) and so was the original starter (rebuilt 1/22). The hoses, belts, plug wires and electrical components are date coded correct. Every detail is there, including the inspection marks and paint dabs.
The Accurate Exhaust system with the red inserted exhaust tips sound incredible. The entire undercarriage has been painted and is just as detailed as the topside. A lot of the original parts were saved and refurbished. Unfortunately, some parts were way too far gone and were replaced with either factory original pieces or aftermarket reproductions.
The interior is exactly as it was in 1971. From the reconditioned gauge cluster reset to 0 miles (30,000 original miles on car), the black vinyl bucket seats, console with the slap stick shifter, the new seatbelts, carpet and headliner, the rebuilt original AM radio and front/rear OEM speakers, to the factory original cassette tape player with dictation microphone. Only add-on to the interior is a vintage 1970’s Audiovox FM converter.
The exterior is done up in the original color, CF7 In-Violet purple (or for Dodge cars, Plum Crazy). The full black vinyl top, black side stripes, blacked out air grabber hood insert, and the factory style rally 15” rims with Goodyear Polyglas F70-15 tires, will pull you back to the spring of 1971. Vehicle has been ceramic coated with a 4 year coverage.
Documentation includes the dash VIN, original driver’s door VIN sticker stamped with Manufactured for Export (cannot be reproduced), cowl and support VIN, Header “Plymouth Made in USA” tag, engine VIN and Transmission VIN. Original broadcast sheet was damaged beyond repair. Also includes documentation from Galen Govier of authentication.
